Christopher's Story

Christopher was an amazing wonderful man.

He fought dedifferentiated chondrosarcoma, an extremely rare cancer with a bleak prognosis, with great strength and serenity. This is a cancer which is resistant to radiotherapy and chemotherapy so the only option is surgery (which in Christopher's case meant amputation of his leg). He was an inspiration and an example to so many during his life.

The aim is to fund specific research projects into chondrosarcoma and chordoma, both very rare bone cancers which get less support than the more common cancers.
